Udon Thani Rajabhat University, originally named the "Agricultural Teacher Training School of Udon Province," was established on November 1, 1923. The Royal Scholar Phongbhisak took the role of acting principal. The institution offered a diploma program for teachers, enrolling male students who had completed the 4th grade of primary school to continue their studies for an additional two years. These students were scholarship recipients from various provinces.
