Luk Thung Museum

Wat Tha Phra, Bang Ko La Y

This museum was inspired by Khun Janphop Jobkrubuan-Wan and occupies 19 square wah within his own home. Part of the collection includes memorabilia from the late country music artist, such as the outfit worn to perform the royal song “Som Tum” by Pumpuang Duangchan. The museum also showcases images of legendary singers and mentors in the realm of country music, both past and present, including those who are still alive and those who have passed on. Additionally, there is a library that houses records of all kinds available in Thailand, dating back to the era of the 78 RPM shellac records to the present day. The museum is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays and there is no entrance fee.
