Hua Hin Railway Station is often regarded as the most beautiful train station in Thailand. A notable feature of this station is the Phra Mongkut Klao Pavilion, a four-winged pavilion built during the reign of King Mongkut Klao. Originally named Sanam Chan Pavilion, it is located within the grounds of Sanam Chan Palace in Nakhon Pathom Province. This pavilion was used for King Mongkut Klao to observe exercises conducted by the Volunteer Force and scouts from across the country, which were held annually. After his reign, the State Railway of Thailand decided to dismantle it and relocate it to serve as a memorial of the king's graciousness.
