Mrigadayavan Palace, located in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province, served as the summer residence for His Majesty King Vajiravudh (Rama VI). It was constructed between 1923 and 1924 under the design of the Italian architect, Ercole Manfredi. The complex showcases a blend of traditional Thai and Western architectural styles, built entirely from golden teak and elevated on reinforced concrete pillars above the beach. This summer palace, established during the reign of King VI in the 1920s, features a high-raised structure interconnected by walkways, all set against the backdrop of the seaside. Visitors are kindly reminded to wear long pants when entering the palace grounds.
