The art of plaster sculpture during the Thonburi era is exemplified by Mr. Suk Phaiphai, who was recognized for his outstanding contributions to Thai culture in the Central region, particularly in the fields of artistic craftsmanship and handmade artistry in 1992. His establishment has become a hub for producing Khon (masked dance drama), costumes for Khon performances, along with paper and plaster dolls. Mr. Suk Phaiphai and his wife, Mrs. Jareun Phaiphai, have been diligently creating Khon since 1987, aiming to sell these creations and enhance the Thai identity at Suan Amphon. In 1991, Mr. Suk Phaiphai was honored by the National Culture Committee as a prominent figure in Central Thai culture and was awarded a royal plaque from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
