Pitu Gro Waterfall

Mae Chan Subdistrict, Um Phang District.

"Pitukgor Waterfall" is located on the Doi Sam Muen mountain range within the Um Phang Wildlife Sanctuary in Um Phang District, Tak Province. This waterfall is renowned for being the largest and highest in Thailand, with a breathtaking height of over 500 meters (measured with GPS), nearly twice that of Bangkok's Baiyoke Tower. The spectacular waterfall is nestled deep within the forest, where the surrounding nature remains pristine and beautiful. Remarkably, it takes the shape of a heart; especially during the rainy season, numerous streams cascade down from the springs on the summit of Doi Mamuang Sam Muen, flowing over steep cliffs into two main channels. When viewed from afar, the verdant forest contrasts beautifully with the white heart-shaped water flows, creating a stunning visual spectacle.
