At the Phu Taem National Park in Ubon Ratchathani province, the atmosphere is perfect for the first holiday of the week during the New Year festival in January 2018. The previously barren sandy rock plains, once only dotted with short grass, have transformed into a stunning spectacle of nature during this seasonal phenomenon. The vibrant array of wildflowers, many of which are insect-eating plants, burst forth in a breathtaking display.
