At the Phu Taem National Park in Ubon Ratchathani province, the atmosphere is perfect for the first holiday of the week during the New Year festival in January 2018. It is still considered part of the New Year festivities, and the winter season brings pleasant and chilly weather, making it an ideal time to relax and explore nature. Particularly noteworthy is the expansive 20-rai field of wildflowers blooming vibrantly within the national park. This beautiful area is home to over 40 species of wildflowers that emit a fragrant aroma, and these flowers thrive naturally in their surroundings. The previously barren sandy rock plains, once only dotted with short grass, have transformed into a stunning spectacle of nature during this seasonal phenomenon. The vibrant array of wildflowers, many of which are insect-eating plants, burst forth in a breathtaking display. Countless tiny blooms have emerged from beneath the surface, harmoniously blossoming and swaying gracefully in the cool breeze, creating a picturesque and enchanting landscape that mesmerizes visitors across the entire area.
