Aow Leuk Noi is a sub-district in Aow Leuk District, comprising six villages: Ban Na Nuea, Ban Bagan, Ban Aow Leuk Noi, Ban Na Kae, Ban Khun O, and Ban Kiri Wong. The majority of the population practices Islam, accounting for 98%, while Buddhists make up 2%. This community is rich in both terrestrial and aquatic resources, featuring swamps, caves, seas, limestone mountains, canals, wetlands, and mangrove forests. It boasts an impressive biodiversity and is set in a tranquil location shielded from strong winds. The coastal residents primarily engage in traditional fishing, while those living inland focus on rubber and palm oil cultivation.
