For those who love taking photos on wooden bridges with a serene rice field view below, along with the splendid scenery of Suang Men District, this is the place to be! I highly recommend visiting from October onwards, as the rice paddies will start to turn a vibrant green. The term "Khuat Ta" signifies a wooden bridge; "Khuat" means bridge, while "Ta" refers to bamboo that is woven together into a mat of the desired size. This bridge symbolizes the community of the past when there were no concrete bridges crossing the Yom River. This wooden bridge connects Ban Pong Sub-district with Suang Men Sub-district. During the flood season, residents rely on boats to cross the Yom River. However, in the dry season, the community bands together to construct the Khuat Ta bridge, allowing them to cross the river for contacting government agencies and transporting goods to other areas. Within the vicinity, there are also sustainable agricultural areas where you can learn and shop for local products.
