The temple that features a replica of the Buddha's footprint is Wat Sri Phuminaha. This temple is significant as it is linked to Phra Kaew Asa, who was the founder of the temple. Adjacent to Wat Sri Phum is the residence of the governor of Dan Sai, Phra Kaew Asa. The village of Na Ho is located to the north of Dan Sai district and was originally named Ban Na Hoa due to the presence of the governor’s residence. The local people began referring to the village simply as Ban Ho, and later added the prefix “Na” because there were rice fields near the village. Additionally, Na Ho was where Phra Kaew Asa stayed before relocating to Khaeng Taow, Laos.
