Wat Pa Sutthavas is a temple where Phra Ajahn Mun Bhuridatta Thera's remains rest, located in Tha Chai Chung Subdistrict, Mueang District, Sakon Nakhon Province. According to the history of Phra Ajahn Mun Bhuridatto, he was a monk who strictly adhered to the ascetic practices and was highly respected by both monks and laypeople throughout the country. Within the temple grounds, there stands the Chedi Janthasarn Jetiya Nussorn, also known as the Luang Pu Luy Janthasaro Museum Chedi. This structure was built in accordance with the wishes of His Majesty the King, who drafted the initial design for the construction of this building. His Majesty conveyed the royal command that: “A chedi should be built at Wat Pa Sutthavas in Mueang District, Sakon Nakhon Province, as this temple houses the relics of Phra Ajahn Mun Bhuridatta Thera, allowing him to remain close by.”
